Im Westen nichts Neues

Erich Maria Remarque wrote a chilling book about his experiences in the trenches of the first World War: "Im Westen nichts Neues", better known as "All quiet on the western front". I reread it last week. I had to do something with the images the book left behind.

Great illustrations, Rene, and perfect for that book. I have the book and the movie.

i have not read this book but the terrors of war are present in these illustrations. Good work, Rene!

The good thing about the book is it's not all misery, but it has this kafkaesk feeling of inevitibility in it.
Didn't see the film, it's with Kirk Douglas isn't it?

(But I have seen already "Kuky se vraci" !!! )

Thank you Rodney. Ludek, was Kuky good? I liked the preview?
